R.E.M. a tout de même été présent en 2025 via la sortie d’un remix de Radio Free Europe visant à soutenir la célèbre radio américaine éponyme dont les fonds ont été coupés par l’actuelle administration Trump.
Losing My Religion est l’une des chansons les plus populaires du quatuor formé en 1980 par Michael Stipe, Mike Mills, Peter Buck et Bill Berry.
Plage 2 d’Out of Time, septième album paru en 1991, le titre a été clippée par le vidéaste pendjabi Tarsem Singh. Sa réalisation fut d’ailleurs fut vidéo de l’année lors des MTV Video Music Award de 1991.
Le groupe a repris sa chanson en 2024 lors d’une reformation éphémère au Songwriters Hall of Fame. Nous en avions rendu compte.
